Description
A scarce RAD ( Reichsarbeitsdienst) Leaders dagger by Carl Eickhorn ( Squirrel logo)
The dagger is in absolutely beautiful condition the previous collector/owner always kept his dagger collection clean he took great pride in this particular item and kept it polished.
The blade is very clean it has a minor blemish mark just above the Arbeit Adelt motto ( see image) but nothing major and another slight blemish towards the wider end of the blade ( see image) again nothing serious.
Amazingly the grip is free from cracks and the scabbard is dent free and retains its hanger fittings.
The motto is deep and crisp and the Eickhorn Squirrel logo is very clear and crisply struck.
The cross guard is perfect and undamaged the leather buffer is still in situ.
A very nice dagger indeed and not easy to find nowadays.
Very well priced at £1025.00
